Anna and books

This is a sister site to my main blog, ‘So where’s the snow?’ about my life in Austria.  I am an author and have a passion for books.  My first book, ‘Tom’ is available on Kindle, a colllection of short stories is underway and a second book is ‘Ducks’ a collection of animal short stories.

I found that with the gift of a Kindle, my reading world was transformed. Living in a German speaking country means that finding enough to read in English was ever a problem and expensive. So I began to read avidly and started reviewing books, which had a huge response on the Blog.  However, keeping the two means that I get a huge backlog, so the books are now here!

The majority of my books are downloaded from the free lists on Amazon, many I find so substandard I don’t get beyond the first page, but those who I enjoy, I will review in the hope that I can give other writers a review to help their ratings and their sales.  But ok, the occasional real book does creep in!

I am an First Class Honours Graduate in English with the Open University and have experience in book critiquing and editing.  If anyone would like to send me a book to review, I’d love to. Likewise if you’d like your book critiqued, I’d love to do that too, but for a fee. As a Christian, I don’t accept porn, violence, horror or vampire stuff!
